Simon, has a wealth of experience at Director Level in the health and social care sector having originally trained as a nurse and completed a Master’s Degree in Change Management. His background lays testament to the fact he is passionate about working with Health and social care organisatons, to ensure the effective, efficient and economic delivery of services. At the same time he believes it is key to develop the capabilities of management teams through the implementation of strategic, operational and organisational change.
Simon understands the pressures that organisations face and recognises that while the dilemmas they face are not unique, the solutions may be. Simon has significant experience in working with business leaders to deliver results by developing their capabilities.
Chief Executive Officer / Responsible Individual
Christine joined Aspirations in September 2011. She has over 20 years' experience working with people, starting her career as a nursery nurse working with children with disabilities, then training to be a nurse for adults with learning disabilities. Throughout her career, which has seen her work within mental health, learning disability and autism services, she has been an advocate for the rights of each and every individual to have choice and control over their lives and be an equal citizen no matter what their ability or challenges they may face.
Managing Director of The Leaving Care Company
Mandy joined Aspirations in November 2012. Her career has included operational and managerial roles; over the past 11 years she has focused on human resources management. Mandy was the Managing Director of The Leaving Care Company which was acquired by Aspirations back in 2013. As well as continuing with the role which she has also continued to ensure that her teams deliver a high quality, effective and outcome-led service to all the young people they support.
Business Development Director
Louise joined Aspirations in November 2013 having worked for a number of specialist adult mental health and learning disability providers through-out the UK, in customer facing roles. Louise’s feels passionately about ensuring high quality outcomes based services are delivered to everyone that Aspirations supports and also that the teams and commissioner who place and fund these people also get a good service. The Business Development Team work closely with their colleagues in the operational teams to guarantee this is met.
Glenn joined Aspirations at the start of 2015. A Chartered Management Accountant, he has more than 20 years’ experience working in senior finance roles in manufacturing, construction and engineering, and this is his first role working in the care and supported living sector. Glenn has developed a range of transferrable skills in business and financial management that are being used to ensure the Group continues to deliver good service to all the people Aspirations support.
